„Manchester City“ agent Dmitri Seluk, who represents Yaya Toure, criticized that the Chief Executive of „Bayern Munich“ is greatly overrated. According to the agent, the Bavarian club or even „Barcelona“ could be coached by his own grandfather.
D.Seluk expressed dissatisfaction with the rumors that the management of „Man City“ could be taken over this summer by J.Guardiola, who decided not to renew his contract with „Bayern Munich“. Y.Toure's agent reminded journalists, among other things, that it was actually the Spaniard who decided to sell his client when the latter was still playing for the „Barcelona“ team.
Speaking to the „Sunday Mirror“, D.Seluk was not afraid to criticize the 44-year-old coach.
„Pep is a great coach, but all his titles were won with the „Bayern“ and „Barcelona“ teams. The truth is, even my grandfather could win the Champions League with those clubs. I would like to see him coaching a club that is in the eighth or ninth place in the league. I wonder if he could still win the champions from there.“
J.Guardiola sold Y.Toure to „Man City“ back in 2010, emphasizing that the Ivory Coast national team member was not strong enough to play for „Barcelona“.
D.Seluk continued: „I don't know what Guardiola's plans are, but after what happened at „Barcelona“, it's scary to think that Yaya could be sent elsewhere again or spend the rest of his days on the bench.“
„Together with Yaya, we hope that he won't go anywhere else with his suitcases.“
