Nigerian national team and Portsmouth forward Y.Aiyegbeni will move to Middlesbrough this summer, the English club announced on Monday.
The British media reports that the Nigerian will cost about 7.5 million pounds (about 38 million litas) for Middlesbrough. Y.Aiyegbeni moved to Middlesbrough from Haifa's Maccabi, where he played alongside Lithuanian Raimondas Žutautas, in January 2003 and scored 48 goals in 89 matches.
Middlesbrough stated that the player will join the team on July 1.
Middlesbrough finished seventh in the English championship and secured a ticket to the UEFA Cup next year.
