Yaya Toure: I Love "Man City" and Want to Stay Here

Yesterday, information was shared that Yaya Toure could be one of the 18 players leaving "Manchester City" this summer, but the player himself has different wishes.

Although at the beginning of the season he was not in coach Pep Guardiola's plans at all, later he was given more playing time.

The apologetic midfielder from Ivory Coast returned to the "citizens" squad and now says that the main reason he regained his form is the new team manager.

"Of course. I love this football club," - Sky Sports asked if he would like to stay in Manchester, Toure replied.

"When the day comes when I am no longer useful, I will know it myself. I know my body and I will say 'Yes, I can't do it anymore.'

"Honestly, the coach was the one who tried to get the most out of me," the veteran added. "Last year I was overweight, it was a tough situation, I had many problems in my family."

"I talked to him a lot, but people didn't see it on their screens. These conversations will only remain between him and me. He knows what I am capable of."

Toure finally added that Guardiola is truly special. It is true that in order to be friends with him, one must perform everything the strategist demands with full understanding.
