Youngest debutants of European national teams

Official uefa.com website has compiled a list of the youngest European national team footballers who made their debut in national men's teams.

Until now, the all-time record belongs to the former Irish team, where Samuel Johnston debuted in the team at the age of 15 years and 154 days against England in 1882.

Also in the top five are Jozsef Horvath (Hungary, 15 years and 188 days), Martin Odegaard (Norway, 15 years and 253 days), Fernando Nisoto (Belgium, 16 years and 19 days) and Vincent Thillo (Luxembourg, 16 years and 50 days).

Just outside the top 10 is the all-time youngest debutant for the Lithuania men's national team and current national team coach Edgaras Jankauskas. The legendary striker is the 11th youngest European national team footballer of all time.

Andorra Sergio Moreno (4 September 2004 v Finland) - 16 years 283 days

Armenia Edgar Manucharyan (19 February 2004 v Kazakhstan) - 17 years 31 days

Austria David Alaba (14 October 2009 v France) - 17 years 112 days

Azerbaijan Araz Abdullayev (11 October 2008 v Finland) - 16 years 176 days

Belarus Leonid Kovel (18 August 2004 v Turkey) - 18 years 20 days
