Croatia's national team coach Zlatko Dalić assures that his players will be ready to fight against England in the World Cup semi-finals.
The Balkan representatives reached this stage of the tournament for the first time since 1998, but they do not want to stop there and dream of reaching the final.
However, the Croatians' path in the knockouts was far from easy, as they were only able to defeat both Denmark and Russia after penalty shootouts.
"Congratulations to my boys, but also to Russia, who fought well," said Dalić. "It was not a beautiful match, but a battle. A battle for the semi-final. Thank God, we were lucky."
"I was focused all the time, but after Rakitić's penalty, relief washed over me. We made ourselves and the people in Croatia happy. I don't cry often, but now I have a good reason. Croatia is in the semi-finals. It's a great result."
"We have strength against England. We don't want to stop. We will try to demonstrate our best game. We still have two matches to play. We are very motivated. We give it our all. It will be a battle again, but I believe in us."
Croatia's match against England will take place on Wednesday.
