"Manchester United" leaving Zlatan Ibrahimović has confirmed that he will soon move to the Los Angeles "Galaxy" club, which he has been associated with for some time.
The Swede could not play at full strength for a long time because he had suffered a serious knee injury, so "Red Devils" coach Jose Mourinho had to draw up the team's plans without him.
Now the 36-year-old striker will seek to finish his impressive career in Europe no less classically than by crossing the Atlantic.
"I am already ready to come," - Ibra told "LA Times". "First of all, I am here to play football. I am not going for anything else. My main goal is to play football and do what I can do."
"I can't wait to come and gain experience with 'Galaxy,' and find out how football looks like here."
"I want to be a part of it and contribute to its improvement."
"After being in Europe, where I won 33 trophies, played for the best teams in the world, played with the best players in the world, I wanted to come to the USA and play here."
"I want to win and for people to enjoy my game. I chose 'Galaxy' precisely for that reason."
In the "LA Times" newspaper, greetings and a supposed thank you signed by Ibra have already appeared.
