“Manchester United” forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic was voted the best player of the “Premier” League in the month of December by fans, surpassing players such as Cesar Azpilicueta from Chelsea and Liverpool representative Adam Lallana. Out of 64 thousand votes, Ibrahimovic received 24,092 votes. Lallana, who came in second, received 17,935, while Azplicueta came in third with 11,994. Following them were Tottenham's Dele Alli (5,863), Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford (2,874), and West Ham's leader Dimitri Payet (1,264). In December, Ibrahimovic scored six goals in seven matches and before the match against West Ham, he stated that he silenced the critics who doubted his fit in the Premier League. “This gives me a lot of energy, believe me,” Ibrahimovic said. “A lot of energy, because they get paid for talking, I get paid for playing with my feet, and I enjoy that. I wanted to come when everyone thought my career was practically over. I am very satisfied and feel great.”
Congratulations to @Ibra_official - five goals in six @PremierLeague games during December and now the PFA Fans' Player of the Month! #MUFC pic.twitter.com/dOnuh0of5p
