At the "Musee Grevin" museum in Paris, a wax statue of Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was unveiled. On this occasion, the footballer suggested replacing the Eiffel Tower with his statue.
The Swedish national team striker is only the second foreign footballer to have a statue made by a Paris museum. Also displayed here is the statue of Pele.
During the unveiling ceremony, Z. Ibrahimovic expressed his joy: "It's a wonderful feeling to see my statue here. I look very focused, just like on the field. As a Swede, I am very pleased with this appreciation."
The 33-year-old footballer also joked about another possible tribute to him: "Next step? I don't know... Maybe we should replace the Eiffel Tower with Zlatan Ibrahimovic's statue."
So far this season, the striker has scored 16 goals in 23 matches.
