Z. Ibrahimovičius: PSG is a stronger team than "Man Utd"

From Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to Manchester United, Zlatan Ibrahimović, who moved this summer, does not spare criticism for his new team. The footballer upset the English media by saying that his current team is far from being as good as his old one.

During the four seasons spent at PSG, the football star won four French league titles and scored 67 goals, becoming the club's all-time leading goalscorer.

Meanwhile, Manchester United has not been able to win the Premier League trophy since the 2012-2013 season, after which legendary coach Alex Ferguson resigned. The only major trophy won by the Red Devils in recent years is the FA Cup from last year.

However, Z. Ibrahimović stated that he made the decision to move to the English club without hesitation.

"Jose Mourinho's appointment as the new coach had a big influence on my decision. Although the team I am currently playing for is not as strong as the one I left, when J. Mourinho called me, it was not difficult to decide. Financial matters were secondary," he said.

He revealed that the search for new challenges led him to change teams.

"I just wanted changes - I never refuse challenges. Coming to one of the biggest clubs in the world, which has had difficulties and has not achieved great victories recently, and trying to change that, is my task," he explained.

When asked about the very difficult start of the season, during which Manchester United has fallen 9 points behind the leader Chelsea, Z. Ibrahimović emphasized that it does not surprise him.

"From the beginning, I said that we are underdogs. No one talks about us as favorites to win the Premier League trophies. New powerful players arrived in the summer and people started expecting a lot from us. But for four or five years now, the club has not managed to win the league and be at the top of the table. We are working hard to correct that. The first few matches went well and we managed to win, but then we fell into a hole. In one week, we managed to lose three matches, something that hadn't happened to me in 15 years," the striker comforted.
