Zinedine Zidane was satisfied with the team's performance after the match in Barcelona, but not with the result.
The Madrid team, which started the match excellently, could not find ways to send the ball into Marco-Andre ter Stegen's goal - for the first time since 2002, "El Clasico" ended in a draw.
"The players had a great performance," Zidane rejoiced. "Gareth Bale hasn't played many matches lately, but he still did great."
"When you play such matches in this stadium, you always hope for a better result. A draw is definitely not enough for me. We could have fought for more than a point, but that's football.
We created quite a few opportunities, but we simply lacked a killer instinct. We can't say it was a bad match. The only thing missing was goals," added the Frenchman.
