"Z. Zidane Back in Madrid: 'Changes Will Happen'"

284 days - that's how long Zinedine Zidane spent without Real Madrid. The legendary Frenchman, who stepped down from his coaching duties last summer, was once again presented to the Santiago Bernabeu crowd on Monday evening.

After a series of tragic recent results, Real Madrid decided to make changes and relieved Santiago Solari from his coaching duties, replacing him with Z. Zidane after discussions with Florentino Perez.

The "Whites" practically have nothing left to fight for this season, but Z. Zidane is not yet thinking about next season's work, although he added that there will be changes made within the team in the summer.

"I am happy to return to the club. I want to start working again and bring the club back to where it belongs. The only thing I am thinking about now is tomorrow's training session," said the strategist during the presentation.

"Last summer, I left because I believed that changes were needed for both sides. I am coming back because the president, whom I love, asked me to. I will not forget what we achieved in recent years, but I also remember the bad things that happened last year. We won the Champions League, but we were left without La Liga and the Copa del Rey," continued Z. Zidane.

When asked about changes, the Frenchman replied: "We will definitely make certain changes, but now is not the right time to talk about it. The most important thing is that I am back. We will have time to talk to the president and the club about what we can do. But as I said, today it is not our problem."

Finally, when asked about a possible return of Cristiano Ronaldo, Z. Zidane said: "At the moment, I am not thinking about any signings at all. Of course, he is a player who made history in this club and is one of the best in history."

Z. Zidane will return to the coaching seat this Saturday - at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, the match against Celta Vigo awaits.
