Z. Zidane before "El Clasico": "What happens off the field doesn't bother us"

Zinedine Zidane is eagerly awaiting the clash against "Barcelona" on Wednesday.

"Barcelona" and Madrid's "Real" currently have the same number of points - 35. In these matches, both teams have the opportunity to solidify their leadership positions.

Before "El Clasico," much talk is focused on the security of the teams, especially "Real." It has been mentioned before that there may be certain protests organized in Catalonia on match day.

However, as Z. Zidane stated at the press conference, the players and the whole team are focused on the battle on the field.

"I think we are in good form. I am satisfied with how the team is playing," the strategist said. "Security issues are not relevant to us because our entire focus is only on the game itself."

"I never had any thoughts that this match would not take place. We could talk about what happens beyond the field for weeks, but the most important thing for us is to step onto the field with the right energy and not to distract our attention elsewhere.

"I understand how important these matches are. As a footballer, I always looked forward to this clash, as did most players. We know what a great team 'Barcelona' is, so we will need to put in a lot of effort," added Z. Zidane.

The match between Madrid's "Real" and "Barcelona" will take place at the "Camp Nou" stadium on Wednesday at 9 pm.
