Zinedine Zidane thinks that in February he will enter into a battle with the best football specialist in the world.
The Madrid "Real" team will face off against the "Manchester City" squad in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, which last season garnered all possible trophies in England.
Pep Guardiola has already shown his respect for Z. Zidane, and the latter also praised the Catalan at his latest press conference.
"I had the opportunity to meet him in the past," revealed the Frenchman. "I respected him as a player back then, I respect him now as a coach. I believe he is the best strategist in the world."
"Not only me, but also many coaches want to test themselves against Guardiola's team," added Z. Zidane.
When asked how he differs from other coaches, Z. Zidane said: "Perhaps by choosing tactics depending on the team's form. People often think we play in a 4-4-2 formation, but that is a complete myth. During the same game, we change our game and tactical setup several times.
I don't care what people think of me. Perhaps some of them think they are better than me, but for me, the team and the work we do behind the scenes are always the most important."
