Concerned fans wonder why Madrid's "Real" is so passive in the transfer market this summer, team coach Zinedine Zidane assures that he is satisfied with the current squad.
According to him, the team is already the best in the world, so they will seek to prove it during the season.
The "Royal" club was linked with Juventus star Paul Pogba, but he has already withdrawn from the race.
However, the strategist did not rule out the possibility that "Real" might still welcome newcomers.
"I believe we have the best squad in the world, but we need to prove it. So, that's what we are working on", said Zidane.
"Anything can happen by the end of August 31. There are players who may leave, but nothing is certain yet."
"I am satisfied with the players I have. We work hard, and that is the most important thing for a coach. I have to work with the talents we have."
"My press conferences are probably a bit boring because I always say the same thing, but it is important to be well-prepared for the season."
Zidane also revealed that injured Cristiano Ronaldo is unlikely to recover in time for the UEFA Super Cup match against "Sevilla".
