Zinedine Zidane, after a two-week break, decided to bring Gareth Bale back into the team. Symbolically, today marks the end of a season marked by bitter failures for Madrid's "Real," where the last team Bale was likely a part of was the Welsh national team.
Today, Madrid's "Real" team will play against "Real Betis" at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium. Z. Zidane confirmed that G. Bale will be in the lineup, but could not say the same about the upcoming season.
"Tomorrow he will be with us, that's all I can say," the strategist said at a press conference. "Once the match starts, you will see what happens."
"I don't know if these are Gareth's last matches in this club. We have one more match left in the season, and changes are inevitable in the summer. But I still don't know if this is his last time here," added Z. Zidane.
Along with G. Bale, Keylor Navas will likely play his last match in this club. Marcos Llorente, Dani Ceballos, and Sergio Reguilon are also likely to leave after the season.
