Z. Zidane: J. Rodriguez is our key player

Madrid's "Real" coach Zinedine Zidane celebrated the team's victory in the Spanish championship and spared no praise for James Rodriguez, who returned to the field after injury.

The "Real" team returned to the field in "La Liga" championships yesterday after two weeks and after a tough battle, they defeated the league's underdogs "Osasuna" footballers with a score of 3-1.

Z. Zidane brought James Rodriguez onto the field at the beginning of the second half, who had been recovering from injury since the beginning of January. Despite losing his starting position, Z. Zidane considers Rodriguez as one of the most important players in the team.

In these matches, Rodriguez did not score or assist in a goal, but his presence in the midfield immediately livened up Real's game.

"James played a good game. It's not easy to come back after an injury and play a great game right away. But he demonstrates steady and calm play on the field, which is necessary for the entire team. He is a key player for us," Z. Zidane said.

The coach also shared his thoughts on the changed game tactics, the long break without football, and the upcoming tough match against "Napoli".

"We played with three defenders and Danilo and Marcelo on the flanks, but had to change the scheme after Danilo's injury. The most important thing was to maintain balance in the game and achieve victory.

It was challenging not having played for 15 days. The most important thing is that we were able to return to the rhythm of the game with a victory, and now we need to prepare to play every three days. We need to rest and focus all our attention on the match on Wednesday," Z. Zidane added.

"Real" will host "Napoli" footballers on Wednesday in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
