Z. Zidane on the possible arrival of P. Pogba at "Real": "Why not?"

Zinedine Zidane at Saturday's press conference further fueled speculation about the possible arrival of Paul Pogba at Real Madrid.

According to Spanish media reports, Real Madrid has seriously started thinking about P. Pogba's candidacy. The player himself admitted that he would not refuse the opportunity to join the "White" ranks, and he expressed his sympathy for Z. Zidane.

The strategist did not say whether the club is considering the possibility of acquiring him, but when talking about the midfielder, he only had praise.

"I really like Pogba. I believe this is not news. I know him personally. He is an exceptional player who does what only a few footballers can do. We are talking about a midfielder who can defend well, attack, and participate in the creative process. However, he is not my player. He belongs to Manchester United and we respect that," said Z. Zidane.

At the end, Z. Zidane clearly mentioned that P. Pogba would be on Real's radar if he decided to change teams: "He is not my player, but if one day he decides to leave Manchester and wants to come to Madrid, why not?"

Speaking about the future of his players, Z. Zidane mentioned that he sees no signs that Raphael Varane would like a change in his career.

"I can say that he is very happy here. He has been in Madrid for eight years, he has done a phenomenal job so far. I do not believe the stories of other people. He seems happy and dedicated to the club," added the Frenchman.
