The head coach of Madrid's "Real" Zinedine Zidane, after the first defeat this season, blames no one and believes that soon the "Whites" will emerge from this uncomfortable situation.
At the moment, "Real" is facing great difficulties in the Spanish championship - the country's champions have eight points and occupy only seventh place. The UEFA Champions League winners have not been able to achieve a single victory at their stadium in three matches this season.
First, they played a draw with "Valencia", then with "Levante", and in the last match, the "Whites" unexpectedly lost to Seville's "Real Betis" at the very end of the game.
Z. Zidane's team increased their gap to 7 points behind the front-runner "Barcelona" after the loss. However, the coach does not consider this a tragedy and states that "Real" will bounce back.
"I don't think the situation is critical," said Z. Zidane. "We lost important points, but we still have many matches left this season. All the work we have done this season will not be wasted because of three bad games."
"We are not able to take advantage of the opportunities we have during the matches. I am the coach of this team and I must remain calm. Now we need to rest and prepare for the next matches.
"These were not our best matches, but they were not the worst either. Last season we won games where maybe we didn't deserve to win, but now everything has turned upside down," Z. Zidane concluded.
During the weekend, "Real" will have the opportunity to improve as the royal club will face this season's underdog "Alaves" who hasn't scored a single goal yet.
