Zinedine Zidane confirmed that the players of Real Madrid will not form a guard of honor for their closest rival Barcelona.
By the end of the season, Barcelona lead La Liga by 12 points with seven games remaining, so when the "El Clasico" takes place in May, they will likely have secured the title.
During these matches, the coach of the royal club is ready to break the tradition of honoring the strongest team in the league, as the capital's players did not receive the same treatment after their triumph in the FIFA Club World Cup.
"I don't know how much you intend to ask me about this, but my answer is very clear," Zidane said at a press conference.
"This is my decision and that's it."
