Hosts Vilnius "Žalgiris" and Gargždai "Banga" met at the LFF stadium. In a fierce battle, the winners were the Vilnius team.
In the first half, the hosts took the initiative, although the guests from Gargždai threatened the opponents' goalkeeper several times towards the end of the half. Already in the 7th minute of the match, Mantas Kuklys put "Žalgiris" in the lead with a header into the goal.
However, the Lithuanian vice-champions failed to maintain the lead for long, as in the 34th minute, "Banga" player Aurelijus Staponka scored after a great counterattack.
We saw productive 45 minutes in the second half. In the 65th minute, Rytis Leliūga put the "Žalgiris" ahead, but just ten minutes later Alexey Alekseev equalized the score.
Nevertheless, the residents of Vilnius launched a decisive attack, and in the 79th minute Kamilis Bilinskis scored a goal, with Vedran Gercas securing the victory at the end of the match after a pass from Jakub Wilko.
In another match, Klaipėda "Atlantas" players achieved a convincing victory with a score of 2-0 against Pakruojis "Kruoja" in Gargždai.
