Jakub Wilk and Linas Pilibaitis goals secured a 2:1 victory for the Vilnius team in the Lithuanian Football Federation Cup tournament final against Gargždai "Banga".
Žalgiris won the cup for the eighth time and the third time in a row. In 2012 and 2013, the Vilnius team won in the final after penalty shootouts.
This time it was not necessary, although Evaldas Grigaitis' goal in the second half brought the intrigue back to the Utena stadium.
