On Sunday afternoon in Lithuania, the 16th round matches of the "SMScredit.lt A League" were played.
The local team Vilnius "Žalgiris" and Pakruojis "Kruoja" tested their strength at the LFF stadium. The Lithuanian vice-champions won an easy and routine victory.
In the first half, all the goals were scored by the players of "Žalgiris". Kamilis Bilinskis put the team ahead in the 17th minute, later doubling the score. Pavelas Komolovas scored the third goal in the 43rd minute.
In the second half, the capital team calmed down a bit and played more calmly. Takuya Kanai scored the last goal in the 68th minute.
In another match, the players of Klaipėda "Atlantas", supported by their fans, faced Panevėžys "Ekranas". The teams ended in a draw, 1-1.
The first goal in the ranks of the Lithuanian champions was scored by Uchenna Umeh, who marked after a wonderful goal by Edgaras Baranauskas. However, at the end of the match, the hosts managed to equalize the score.
