Another newcomer to "Žalgiris" is getting ready to become a legionnaire from the Ivory Coast - defender Ben Hassane Traoré arrives in Vilnius on a loan agreement with a club from Saudi Arabia.
The 24-year-old player has played in Portugal and has been a member of the "Al-Hazem" team in recent years.
With this team, B. Traoré last year secured the right to play in the top Saudi Arabian league, where many football stars have recently arrived.
B. Traoré began his professional career in the lower leagues of Portugal, and in 2021-2022 he played for the "Leixoes" club.
In early 2023, the player moved to Saudi Arabia.
The agreement for the loan of the player to "Žalgiris" was reached a little earlier, but the player's arrival was delayed due to visa issues.
In "Žalgiris" he will become the second player from the Ivory Coast - the team also includes Adama Fofana - and the ninth newcomer in the mid-season.
