At the break of the selection, "Žalgiris" will go out with a five-point lead over their pursuers. The Vilnius team defeated Gargždai "Banga" 2:1 at home after a tough battle and took advantage of the opponents' stumble.

The first goal was scored by Liviu Antalis with a close-range shot in the first half. After the break, "Banga" equalized through former Žalgiris player Vilius Piliukaitis, but the Žalgiris players fought until the end, and at the end of the match, Giedrius Matulevičius scored the winning goal.

There was one change in the starting lineup of "Žalgiris" - Adama Fofana played from the start. Myroslav Mazuras missed the match due to a suspension.
