On Thursday, Lithuanian champions Vilnius's "Žalgiris" football players started their journey in the Europa League tournament. The Vilnius team played away against Slovenia's "Mura" club with a result of 0:0. In the first half, the game was fairly even, but the Lithuanian champions were slightly more dangerous near the opponent's goal. In the second half, "Mura" took the initiative, but it did not bear tangible fruits and the final whistle of the referee signaled a goalless draw. The second leg will take place in Vilnius after a week.
