Vilnius' "Žalgiris" is concerned about Paulius Golubickas' injury, which he sustained during the winning match against the "TransINVEST" team.

The official statement reads: "We won on Wednesday, but the victory was overshadowed by an unfortunate incident.

In an attempt to reach for a high ball after a duel with an opponent, Paulius Golubickas fell in a particularly unfortunate manner. After the match, he had to be taken to the hospital; the preliminary diagnosis is fractured ribs.

Today, Paulius feels better, but due to the injury, he will not be playing in the near future. We will wait for his return, and for now, we ask that his health privacy be respected."

According to sources from Eurofootball.lt, the attacking midfielder may no longer play this season.
