„Žalgirio“ youth teams received awards won in the elite „Samsung Galaxy Watch“ competitions for the 2022-2023 season - just like in previous seasons, Žalgiris players proudly adorned themselves with medals of various colors.
In the elite boys U-16 league (born in 2007 and younger), the team coached by Dainius Greviškis and Justinas Baužys became the champions.
Vakaris Berenta was recognized as the best attacker of the competition.
The U-15 team (born in 2008 and younger) coached by Tomas Statkevičius and Tomas Bassus was close to the goal, but after a decisive match in the final round, they had to acknowledge the triumph of Kaunas Be-1 and took second place.
Klemensas Gustas was recognized as the best defender of the competition.
In the girls' (U-17) competition, the team of MFK „Žalgiris“ led by Virginija and Justas Klevinskis took third place. Karina Klevinskaitė was selected as the best goalkeeper.
