Two players who represented the "Barcelona B" team last season will now wear the shirts of Zaragoza.
The Aragon team officially confirmed signing a three-year contract with defender Abraham Mineiro and goalkeeper Eduard Oriol. Both newcomers will be introduced to the Saragossa team's fans next week.
It was previously reported that these players will not represent the main academy team in the 2011-2012 season and are leaving the club as free agents.
25-year-old Abraham 'Barcoje B' could no longer play due to the age restrictions applied to youth teams, and Oriol did not receive an offer to sign a new contract, so he accepted the offer from Zaragoza.
"I chose Zaragoza because it is a great opportunity for me to test myself in the strongest league in the country. This is a big challenge for me and I can't wait to start training with my new teammates as soon as possible," Abraham said.
"I will do everything I can," Oriol's words are quoted on the official Zaragoza website. "I am full of enthusiasm and a desire to win. I believe that one day I will succeed.
