Today, four matches of the Russian "Premier" League were played, in which three out of five "Lithuanian" clubs managed to earn points. The other two suffered defeats against teams lower in the league table.
Moscow's "Dynamo", represented by Žydrūnas Karčemarskas and Tomas Tamošauskas, lost at home to "Kuban" in the penultimate position.
The matches of the two Moscow teams, each with one Lithuanian player, ended in a draw. "Moskva" with Rolandas Džiaukštas earned a point and rose to seventh place in the league table, while Mantis Samusiovas' "Torpedo" club moved up to third place.
The team "Rostov", currently in thirteenth place in the league table, unexpectedly managed to defeat the leader "Zenit" on the road, to which recently transferred "Ekranas" football player Egidijus Majus moved.
Meanwhile, the team of former "Žalgiris" defender Algirdas Jankauskas, "Amkar", failed to beat the absolute underdog of the championship, "Rotor".
