"Former defender of the Lithuanian national team, who represented the "Vilnius" team this year, has ended his professional football career and started working as the club's sports development manager.
As reported on the official FC website, two years ago the 31-year-old Ž. Grudzinskas completed his master's studies at Vilnius Pedagogical University.
This season, the player played in the position of defender for the capital's team and Ž. Grudzinskas appeared in the starting lineup 21 times, playing a total of 1740 minutes during the season, which is slightly more than half of all matches.
In October 2004, playing for "Vėtra" in the Vilnius city derby against "Vilnius," Ž. One of the most memorable moments of the footballer's career was in 1999, when Ž. Grudzinskis had the honor of playing in Buenos Aires against the Argentine national team.
