Sweden's national team and Paris St.Germain's leader Zlatan Ibrahimović has been named the best player of the Ligue 1 season.
The striker, in the battle for the best title, beat his teammates Thiago Silva and Thiago Motta, as well as Monaco's defender James Rodriguez.
In 32 French championship matches contributing to the defending champions' title, Z.Ibrahimović scored 25 goals and provided 16 assists.
Several other players were also honored.
The best goalkeeper of the year was named Salvatore Sirigu, who defended PSG's goal, surpassing Lille's goalkeeper Victor Enyeama.
The best young player of the season was also announced as a representative of the Paris club. It was the Italian Marco Verratti.
Lille's coach Rene Girard was also honored, being named the best coach of the year.
