Legendary Swedish attacker Zlatan Ibrahimović spoke to "Sky Sports Italy" about his career period (2009-2011) at the "Barcelona" team, then coached by Josep Guardiola.
"In the first six months, I scored many goals and we won two Super Cups. However, later it was decided to change the tactics, which I did not like. Later on, club representatives mentioned to me that I should talk to the team's strategist.
I told Guardiola that he sacrifices other players for Lionel Messi's sake, and the Catalan nodded his head and assured me that he understands me. Soon I felt the consequences of that conversation - I missed three games sitting on the bench.
Since then, he didn't talk to me and didn't even look in my direction. When I entered the room, Pep would leave. I understood that something was hidden behind all football matters.
Later, I had to read about similar behavior of Guardiola towards Mario Mandžukić and Samuel Eto'o. He was not the worst specialist, but I can confidently say - I have never seen such an immature person. Real men do not run away from problems," Ibrahimović said.
