After the Champions League match in Dortmund ended in a 2-2 draw, Madrid's "Real" coach Zinedine Zidane did not hide his disappointment.
According to the Frenchman, the visitors deserved three points, while "Borussia" had to remain empty-handed.
"My players played a great game. It's true, it's hard to accept this result, because we deserved more," said the manager.
"It hurts when you concede a goal three minutes before the end of the match, especially when you know that the players put in a lot of effort. But it's not a bad result."
"Real" defender Raphael Varane, whose mistake led to the first goal, said:
"A draw is a fair result for both teams. They held onto the ball longer, while we tried to counterattack. At the end of the game, we lacked a bit of focus and energy."
